Growing up in Epworth Children's Home, Nelson witnessed firsthand the diverse challenges faced by children from all backgrounds and with different needs. This formative experience ignited a deep passion for community service and personal development. In 2007, he completed vocational studies in audio production and design, laying the foundation for a career focused on storytelling and technology.
In 2010, Nelson began working as an AV/IT specialist at Thomas Nelson Community College, where he met Nadir Johnson, the founder of Operation International Gift of Knowledge (OIGOK). His career progressed to include roles in IT administration, including serving as a System Administrator for a U.S. Senator.
In 2018, Nelson founded Vsoul Photos, a visual media company committed to capturing meaningful stories through photography and videography. After a decade of supporting OIGOK in a technical capacity, he now serves as the organization's Vice President, where he continues to advocate for youth development and educational empowerment.
Nelson is dedicated to using his skills and experience to help every child uncover and cultivate their God-given talents, regardless of their background.
